SEPHORA by OPI Betsey Johnson

SEPHORA by OPI recently released a collection with Betsey Johnson. It's My Pink is an opaque hot pink scented with her fragrance Too Too. This color is a bright neon pink The formula is really nice and dries with a nice shine. It is almost good for one coat but, you need two for sure. It's adorable that this shade also came in a box unlike any other SEPHORA by OPI polishes. The Too Too fragrance is really lovely. The scent on the Sephora website said Too Too is Juicy Passion Fruit, Pink Musk, Ginger, Mara Strawberry, Tuberose, Jasmine, Oud Wood, Patchouli, Black Vanilla.It smells so good and isn't too much or overwhelming.

Sephora by OPI Bohemian Brights

I recently got a couple Sephora by OPI nail polishes from the Bohemian Brights collection. I only got 4 but, there is one more I think I want now. There are 8 in the regular collection and if you buy the mini set you get some limited edition colors I believe. Here are some swatches and info:

Neutral Beauty is described as an opaque honey tan. It is a creme finish and is a nice neutral. I don't think is compliments my very pale skin tone much, but I like the color anyway and have a obsession with nudes of all shades. The formula is great and it didn't chip at all. I used 2 coats.

 Bright as a feather is a really lovely shimmery light blue. I used two coat in the picture above and probably could of gone three. They describe this as a metallic but, it is more on the shimmer side.

It's Totally Karma is a really lovely opaque lime green. I could have left this one coat but, for some reason I always go two even if it only needs one. The creme finish is lovely. This one lasted the whole day I wore it without chipping. 

 

I think this one is my favorite so far. The description is an opaque metallic golden bronze. This one has the shimmer effect in it too but, is also more on the metallic side then the bright as a feather. This color is really neat. In different light it gives off warmer bronze shades. It looks so good on the nails. I have been wearing it on my toes for a week and no chipping thus far.

I think I am also going to get What's your sign? from this collection.

NOTD: OPI INK

OPI INK is from the Night Brights collections. The color is a mix of purple and royal blue that change undertones in the light. The micro shimmer is and purple pink. This nail polish is super neat in the light and is a must have! The picture doesn't do the color justice.

NOTD: OPI Totally Fort Worth It

Totally Fort Worth It is from OPI 2011 Spring Texas Collection. It is a lovely iridescent light purple grey with very tiny micro pinkish red sparkles. It is described by OPI as a shimmer lavender grey. This is a very sheer polish. It needed four coats to be completely opaque. I do love this color.

The Nail Polish Tag

I looked up a nail polish tag and thought I'd do it for my first post. I plan to post more about nail polish in general like my NOTD with swatches and share new polishes I buy.

How many polishes do you have? I have 275 and growing.

What’s your most owned brand? Zoya but, OPI is a close 2nd. Zoya just have so many coupon codes and stuff it's hard to pass up such great deals.

What is the most common color in your stash? Hmmm, probably nudes. I am always looking for interesting and fun nudes in different finishes.

Are there any colors or finishes you don't own? Gel. I have not jumped on the gel manicures. I believe it's more for people that want their polish to stay on for weeks and I like to change mines every day.


What polish should you have tossed out ages ago but, haven't? I would never. I have given nail polish away but, never tossed unless I used it all up.

Do you use a base, and a top coat? I used a base coat but, not a top coat. I use to use Essie Fill the Gap for a base but, recently decided to try Orly Bonder which I like a lot.

Would you rather stamp your nail art or freehand? I don't do a lot of design on my nails. I have thought about trying stamping but, have not made the move yet.

Do you like shimmers and glitters, or are you’re more into a crème finish? ALL! It depends how what I am feeling when I go over to my nail polish collection.

Do you feel naked without nail polish? Yes. I would put a sloppy quick coat of nail polish on and deal before I would go bare. Luckily I usually do my nails at night before bed so it's rare that I have to slop some polish on.

What Polish are you wearing at the moment? OPI Vampsterdam and my ring is accented with Revlon Facets of Fuchsia.
